Zain Al-Abidin, Silver Sasnu, 6.11g, Kashmir Mint, AH 842, Obv: Arabic legend “Al-Sultan al-Azam Zain Al-abidin”, date, Rev: Mint name, date written out in margin (G&G# K9). Very fine, rare. Shahi Khan ascended the throne of Kashmir with the title of “Zain Al-Abidin”. He ruled for 50 Years and took various public works promoted learning of Persian language. He reformed the coinage of Kashmir. He was one of the wisest ruler of Kashmir Sultanate.
