Sasanian Empire, Khusru II, Silver Hemidrachma, 4.25g, Ctesiphon Mint (NYHCh), Obv: Draped bust of king facing right, wearing elaborate mural crown, behind head, AFZUT GDH ('may his kingship increase' in Pahlawi); before head, HWSRWD ('Khosrau' in Pahlawi), Rev: Fire altar with ribbons flanked by two attendants; to right, NYHCh (mint signature in Pahlawi) (MAC# 1167). Very fine.
