Akbar, Silver Shahrukhi, 4.70g, Lahore Mint, AH 963, Obv: Kalima in mihrabi-rectangular cartouche, names and titles of four caliphs around, Rev: In a mihrab-shaped cartouche the full name of Akbar and AH date; other titles and invocation Khallad Allah etc in margins, mint-name to left. Extremely rare for type exceedingly rare. A very rare specimen struck at Lahore immediately after Akbar’s accession.
