Chalukyas of Badami, Gold Varaha- Gadyana, 3.81g, “Varaha- Boar” type, Obv: Caparisoned Varaha- Boar, the Chalukya insignia, facing right, upturned crescent and large annulet (representing Moon and Sun, respectively) flanked by ornaments; ornaments below boar / Lotus seen from above, Rev: Chhatra- 3 tier Royal Parasol flanked by two fly whisks on either side, both side Swastika on top. Uncirculated, exceedingly rare.
