Nolambas of Nolambavadi, Nanni Nolamba, Gold Punch Marked Gadyana, 3.59g, Uniface, Nine punches struck deeply on a thin flan, 5x Symbol punches of Nandi, the humped Bull recumbent to right, 2x Letter “Sri” inscribed in Kannada, 1x Legend punch “Lenkka” inscribed in Kannada, 1x Symbol punch of “Elephant Goad with battle axe, Sun and Crescent symbols” on obverse. Extremely fine, extremely rare. The above coin is from an old small lot of about 20 over coins. Most of them were found with punches that are either not clear or mostly overlapped.
