Guptas, Kumar Gupta I, Gold Dinar, 7.38g, “Archer” type, Obv: Nimbate king standing, wearing a tunic and dhoti, holding a strung bow in one hand and an arrow in the other, Garuda standard to his left, Brahmi legend “Ku” with crescent beyond the bow-string, Rev: Goddess Lakshmi seated cross-legged on a lotus, holding noose in right hand and has left hand rests on her knee, Tamgha in the left field and Brahmi legend “Sri Mahendra” to right (S Kumar# Class III). Extremely fine, very rare.
