Narsimha Gupta, Gold Dinar, 9.59g, “Archer” Type, Obv: Nimbate king standing, wearing a dhoti with sash round his waist and falling down, earnings, necklace, armlet, wristlet etc. Bare headed. Holding a bow in left hand & arrow in right hand. Garuddhwaja behind the right hand. Legend “Nara” being under the king’s left hand, Circular legend around, Rev: Nimbate Goddess Lakshmi seated cross-legged on a Lotus, holding Flower in left hand and pasa on her left hand, Legend “Baladityah” on the right field (S. Kumar Page 387). Extremely fine, extremely rare.
