Very fine, rare. Muhammad bin Sam returned to the Indian frontier again around 1196 to consolidate his hold in what is present-day Rajasthan. The territory of Bayana at the time was under the control of a sect of Yaduvanshi Rajputs. Muhammad, along with Qutb ud-Din Aibak, advanced and besieged Thankar whose ruler Kumara Pala was defeated.
