Shah Jahan, Gold Mohur, 10.77g, “Square areas” type, Kashmir Mint, AH 1068/ RY 31, central inscription within square, knots at corners on both sides (KM# 260.90). Very fine, extremely rare. Less than five gold mohurs of Kashmir mint are known for Shah Jahan. This coin comes from the collection of the late Nicholas Rhodes. Both these aspects make it a highly desirable specimen.
