Archaic Silver Punch Marked, usually attributed to Avanti Janapada, Upper Chambal- Kali Sindh valley region, Karshapana Standard, 3.28g, “Nagda Hoard” type, Uniface, Four symbols, ABCD configuration- 1. Elephant facing right, 2. small Elephant surmounted by a Nandipada 3. Five dumbbells in a circular pattern, 4. Treskelis surrounded by diamonds and crescents on obverse (Rajgor series 22). Extremely fine, extremely rare. The coins discovered in the Nagda hoard were distributed through the late Shailendra Singh Sharma and published by Dr S K Bhatt. They constitute a very early series of 4-symbol
