Archaic Silver Punch Marked, Bihar series, generally attributed to Magadha Janapada of pre-imperial period, Silver Vimshatika, 5.35g, Obv: Four punches - 1. Sun, 2. Six-armed symbol (in centre), 3. Crescent, 4. Sacrificial spoon; other smaller marks around, Rev: Minor 'banker's marks' (Rajgor Series 10). Extremely fine, extremely rare. This is probably the earliest coinage struck in the Magadha region, with a prominent 6-armed symbol in the centre.
