Defeat of Tipu Sultan Seringapatan Medal, Silver, Obv: The British lion trampling the Indian Tiger called Tipu, Rev: Battle scene of the British with the army of Tipu Sultan, AH 1213, AD 4 May 1799. Royal Mint, London, contained in a magnificent Silver glazed frame, with shell suspender and oval loop in original box. The Medals were awarded to the officers of the British Indian Army which faught in the battle of Seringapatan against Tipu Sultan. UNC, Extremely Rare.
