Victoria Queen, Gold, Mohur, 11.66g, 1841, “No initial”, Continuous legend, Obv: Bust facing to left, English legend & date “VICTORIA QUEEN 1841”, Rev: A Lion facing to left in front of a Palm tree, English legend “EAST INDIA COMPANY, ONE MOHUR” & In Persian “EK ASHARFI” (similar to Prid# 18). Very fine to very fine+, very rare. The date 1841 is retouched thus giving the appearance of numeral 1 after 4 as I, showing 184I instead of 1841, and interesting variety for the variety wise collectors of British India Mohurs.
