Western Maharashtra, Alloyed copper, 1.01g, “Horseman” type, Obv: Horseman to right, Rev: Brahmi legend “Shri Mu Dha”. Patinated, very fine, rare. It is not yet certain who issued these coins but their distribution is tightly centred about Ahmednagar district. They might be a feudatory issue under the Chalukyas of Badami.
