Satavahanas, Bhokardan region, Gotamputa Siri Siva Satakani, Lead, 4.14g, “Lion” type, Obv: Maned Lion facing left, Brahmi legend “…Siva…..” around, Rev: Tree in railing, modified ‘Ujjain’ symbol to right and an ornate wheel above. Very fine+, extremely rare. This is the first known coin of this type to bear the wheel motif in addition to the usual reverse symbols.
