These coins were not meant for circulation but were more like Nazrana issues. Owing to the Gobindshahi couplet these issues are accepted as Sikh issues.Rulers of Cis Sutlej States had the name of the mint as Sahrand, or Sarhand (only in case of Jind state) ever since they started minting coins. Only exception we find is on these and a few similar coins of Nabha. Also, all coins of Cis Sutlej states have on the obverse the couplet attributing the minting of coins to Ahmed S
