Maharathis in Central Maharashtra, Sirimata, (c. 30-70AD), round shape Alloyed Copper, 3.49g, “Three arched hill” type, Obv: Three arched hill with crescent above, Swastika to left, Brahmi legend “Maharathisa…” around, Rev: Tree with broad leaves in a railing (Unpublished in major publications). Extremely fine, extremely rare. The legend on this coin is not very clear and it is likely to be Sirimata overstruck on a coin of Maharathi Talantathi.
