Satavahanas, Gotamiputa Siri Satakani, counterstruck on a drachm of Kshaharata Kshatrapa Nahapana (c. 60-78 AD), Silver Drachma, 2.12g, Obv: Traces of Nahapana's bust and traces of crude Greco-Roman legend around, overstruck by ‘three arched hill with crescent symbol’ and Brahmi letters “Rano Gota…” to right, Rev: 'Ujjain' symbol, or dynastic emblem of the Satavahanas; traces of undertype (Brahmi and Kharoshthi legends and thunderbolt-arrow symbol) visible underneath. Very fine, rare.
