Satavahanas, Gotamiputa Siri Satakani, counterstruck on a drachm of Kshaharata Kshatrapa Nahapana (c. 60-78 AD), Silver Drachma, 1.69g, Obv: Traces of Nahapana's bust and traces of crude Greco-Roman legend around, overstruck by ‘sic arched hill with dots in arches, a crescent above and wavy line below, Brahmi letters “…tasa Siri Sa…” to right, Rev: Ujjain symbol, or dynastic emblem of the Satavahanas, traces of under type (Brahmi and Kharoshthi legends and thunderbolt-arrow symbol) visible underneath. Very fine, rare.
