
Harikela, anonymous, Silver, 2.92g, humped Bull standing left, legend “Vareke” above, no crescent to left (ECB HF5.1). Extremely fine, extremely rare. Harikela, anonymous, with legend reads "vareke" above Bull, probably refers to ‘Viraka’ or ‘Birak’ which is a city in Southern Tripura near Bangladesh Border and now known as ‘Boxanagar’, most of the surviving specimens of these coins were discovered from a single hoard in the Belonia District of Southern Tripura in the 1970’s.
