Medieval Maharashtra, probably Rashtrakuta dynasty, Uninscribed Lead, 2.81g, Obv: Horse standing majestically facing right, Rev: Four armed Goddess seated frontally in a cross-legged position (Unpublished). Very fine+, very rare.The Rashtrakutas greatly valued their cavalry force and depicted either horse or horse-rider motif on many of their coins.
