Awadh, Silver Rupee, Muhammadabad Banaras Mint, in the name of Shah Alam II, RY 17. Parasol mint mark on reverse. Not listed in KM. Nice Toned. Very Fine+, Very Scarce. Year 17 was the last year that Nawab of Awadh struck Rupees in Banaras, the mint being taken over by thr British during that year.
