Sri Mulam Thirunal Rama Varma, Gold 2 Pagoda, 5.10g, “Tulabharanam” issue, 1891, both sides in dotted circular border, Obv: Malayalam legend “Sri Padmanabha” in three lines within a wreath, Rev: Conch shell- Sankha within wreath (B Sarasan# T3). Tiny test mark on edge otherwise extremely fine+, very rare. Tulabharanam was ancient ritual ceremony where king was weighing in Gold and that Gold distributed to the Brahmins.
