Gold Mohur, 11.61g, Pseudo Arcot Mint but struck at Madras Mint, in the name of Alamgir II, AH 1172/ RY 6, Persian legend on both sides, Obv: “Sikka mubarak Badshah ghazi Aziz ud din Muhammad”, Rev: “Zarb Arkot sanah 6 julus maimanat manus”, all within a raised toothed border, closed Lotus (P Steven# 4.1). Tiny test mark on reverse otherwise very fine+, very rare.
