Gupta, Chandra Gupta III, Gold Dinar, 8.65g, "Archer" type, Obv: Nimbate king, standing facing left holding strung bow in one hand and an arrow in the other, Garuda standard with beaded staff in the backdrop and a 'Chakra' symbol in right field, Brahmi legend "Chandra" below the hand holding bow, Rev: Nimbate goddess Lakshmi seated on lotus holding lotus in one hand and a noose in the other, Brahmi legend "Shri Vikra(ma)" to right and tamgha in the left field (Altekar Class II, var.
