Kumara Gupta I, Gold Dinar, 8.19g, “Lion Slayer” type, Obv: Nimbate and dhoti-clad King killing a lion, shown being trampled under his feet to right, with a strung bow and arrow, shooting at the lion’s mouth. The lion is shown leaping out at the King but falling back with the strike of the arrow. Brahmi legend “Sakshadiva Ma…yatya…” seen partially reading clockwise from 1 o'clock, Rev: Goddess seated facing on a lion, which faces right, holding noose in right hand and a lotus in the left.
