Gupta, Chandra Gupta II, Gold Dinar, 7.84g, “Archer” type, Obv: Nimbate king, standing wearing a tunic and Dhoti, holding strung bow in one hand and an arrow in the other, Garuda standard in the backdrop, Brahmi legend “Chandra” below the hand holding the bow and “Deva Shri Maharajadhi(raja)…” visible in the exergue, Rev: Goddess Lakshmi, nimbate, seated on a lotus, holding lotus in one hand and a noose in the other, Brahmi legend “Shri Vikramah” in the right field and a Tamgha to left (Altekar Class II, var.
