Satavahanas, Junnar region, Siri Satakani (c.100-50BC), Alloyed Copper, 7.12g, “Abhisheka Lakshmi” type, Obv: Goddess Lakshmi seated in a yogic posture on a lotus with extended hands holding a Lotus, surmounted by an Elephant, in each. The Elephants lustrate the goddess with water-pots held in their trunks, Brahmi legend “Raño Siri Satakanisa” above and three-arched hills in lower corners, Rev: Ujjain symbol with Swastikas in orbs, enclosed in a rectangular border.
